Fun in the Flowers | Virginia Beach & Hampton Roads Children's Photographer

Little lady M and her sweet mom got to experience nature at its best during this session.  Well, the flowers were great, but the bugs, not so much.  When I spotted this field on our way to church a few weeks ago, my first thought was "I need a baby to put in that field." M was the perfect little girl for my idea! And I can't tell you how glad I am that I went against my "better judgement" and bought that bench at an antique store back in Texas...

Sweet Baby J is 6 months old! | Virginia Beach & Hampton Roads Children's Photographer

You already know how I feel about this kid! She is just lovely.  Her sweet big brother got in on the action too during our session. I photographed her here before we knew whether she was a boy or a girl. And again here when she was just a tiny little angel. I can't believe how much she has grown, and am so happy her mom and dad have trusted me to capture exactly who she is at each stage of her life.  It is safe to say you haven't seen the last of this one!

I don't know if there is a happier, sweeter baby in the world. Except maybe her big brother, but he's not really a baby anymore.  As you will see, my travelling flea circus, Lexi decided to help me with this session (she doesn't really have fleas!).  I wasn't going to post these, but they are just too cute. I figured J might be a little apprehensive of her, but that wasn't the case at all; they became fast friends. Lexi's tail even drooped a little when they began to gather their things to go.  I told her not to worry, that someday we would bring a baby home just for her. :)

I have a new blog...

And the reason is really silly.  My old one is under a different email address, which I deleted a while back. That wasn't a problem...until my computer crashed and we moved ourselves, two pets and all of our stuff across the country during the Christmas holidays all in a span of about two weeks. (it's a good thing we love you, USMC) By the time my computer nightmare had been resolved and  my brain was allowed to think photography several weeks later, I had forgotten the password.  And where I wrote it down.  And why I had deleted the email address in the first place.  So the other blog is out there, just chilling in cyberspace.  Will it last forever?  I don't know.  Things in space last forever, right?
Anyway, it's probably for the best.  New place, new life, new blog.  So here we go!
