Duck Duck Goose Drama

These are too funny not to share.  I have kindly decided to narrate for you.

"Oh, what a lovely day in the park."

And suddenly a stranger appears.  Little do we know his friend is close behind.

Dad: Gives look that says "if you come much closer, there may be trouble."

Dad: Goes into protect and defend planning mode.  (He's a Marine.)

Dad: "Away with you, you foul fowl!!!"

Okay, so maybe it's not that funny.  I had better captions in my mind while I was editing these, but I forgot them.  If you'd like to send me better captions, feel free!

Another darling redhead....

My session with this adorable little family was one to remember.  Not only because they were super fun (and photogenic), or because their little daughter is just breathtakingly beautiful.  I will remember this session because I learned that "feeding the ducks" sounds sweet and innocent, and like a terrific photography idea, but can be quite precarious.  Especially when geese are involved.  Geese aren't quite as sweet and innocent as cute little ducks.  At first, the ducks just stayed in the water while we fed them bread.  I got some great shots at this point.  But then Mr. Goose decided to mosey on into the photos and kind of freaked us all out.  By then end of our time at the park, the mom and I had both been PECKED by a goose. Do I wish we hadn't gone there?  No, it made it more interesting! And there were lots of laughs and natural smiles for me to catch!  But at least I know to warn people before I take them to a park filled with ill-mannered geese.
The beach was a lot more calm, and nothing tried to attack us.  Be sure to pay attention to the beautiful blue dress the little girl is wearing.  It was the PERFECT color.  It was sent to her all the way from Spain! And her sweet pearls.  She is definitely loved!
